Objectively false and even racist. Her actual name is Bu-Ling which is spelled and pronounced like "Purin". To an English audience it sounds like Pudding, but that is explicitly not the name due to the spelling.

In her Mew Mew form, that spelling is changed into Katakana which do read "Pudding" then. It's a play of words, just like with the name Ichigo (=Strawberry) which can be written in different Kanji.
Do some basic research, ain't that hard.

The Pudding thingy was a wrong name used since the Tokyopop release, but was afterwards corrected. It unfortunately stuck around because it does seem to make sense given the other members' names (seriously, Lettuce?) but yeah.
